Hey, long time no write. I hope all's well with you.

I guess y'all deserve to know what I've been up to for the past few years. So here's just a short timeline highlighting the major milestones in my life:

• Apr '17: I started studying Mass Media Management in a polytechnic (i.e. 3-year tertiary education)
• Apr '18: I joined my school's choir. Made some new friends, was given an Executive Committee role, performed both internally & externally; it was really liberating from all the academic stress.  
• Sep '18: I went on a week-long study trip to Ryukoku University in Kyoto, Japan!  Probably the biggest takeaway from polytechnic life.  
• Dec '18: I went on a week-long family holiday to China (Guilin & Guangzhou)!  
• Mar '19: I started a 6-month internship with A+E Networks Asia (you know the broadcasting network that produces TV channels like Lifetime, HISTORY, Crime+Investigation) doing social media stuff. I also started talking to this dude, and officially formed a relationship with him in June.
• Aug '19: Not only did my internship end, so did my relationship with the dude.  But I did really well for the internship, as I was graded an 'A' and admitted into the Director's List (top academic performers of the cohort for the semester).
• Sep '19: I went on a week-long family holiday to Okinawa, Japan!   (Yes, JP's now my favourite travel destination.) 
• Jan '20: I turned 20. My birthday was on Chinese New Year LOL so not much happened since everyone's busy visiting their families.
• Feb '20: On Valentine's Day, I got a boyfriend. 
• Present: We're still together. But the main point is, I'VE FINALLY GRADUATED WITH A DIPLOMA!!  With no cap & gown because of the virus lol. 

Hey all. It's been a while since I made a journal entry. My life's been quite good for the past 2 months; what about y'all? Would love to hear what you guys have been up to. I may actually start uploading art again, but we shall see.

Hey guys, I've decided to come back to dA temporarily 'cos my end-of-year exams have ended. My results are horrendous but oh well, what's done is done. Thank you all who wished me happy birthday this year, I'm truly touched. I really missed you awesome deviants, so it feels good to be back.
Do check out my Squirtle drawing if you haven't already. Also, I've made my very first (and probably the last) stamp.  Feel free to use it on your profile!! I'll be submitting more art before the end of the year, so stay tuned. 

Anyway, I've been dying to know:

Umm apparently it's bad news.

So I decided I'm gonna "quit" dA for good.
WAITTT before you start screaming/flipping the keyboard/spitting your tea out of the window, let me explain why I'm doing this.
I have come up with 10 (very good) reasons. So no violent objections.
1. I haven't been uploading my art. This is the main reason: I'm lazy. I procrastinate.
2. School is taking my time up. It's not my fault that I can't organise my time properly ok. (See above)
3. Next year will be hell in school. I got streamed into a class which I have to study (literally study) 8 subjects. The other classes only need to study 7 subjects. :/ I will have multiple tests in a week, a whole pile of homework.
4. I spend too much time getting angry(most of the time for no good reason) and hence leaving no time for art.
5. I only do art when I have the temptation. I currently have 0.1% motivation for that.
6. I know it's school holidays, but I realised I'm not free. I still have co-curricular activity, homework, being dragged out of the house, entertaining my friends, whatever that keeps me busy, etc.
7. Speaking about co-curricular activity (in case you don't know, I'm in the school choir), I've heard rumours from my seniors that I will be part of the committee next year. The choir committee is a group of student leaders. They do a lot of planning and stuff (aka crap) outside of choir practice. If I don't take my job seriously, I'm dead meat. So fml.
8. I've been neglecting art because I have other interests.
9. People are gonna hate me for this, but I think it's a waste of time. I only do art when I have spare time.
10. Idk

I know I sound like I'm making excuses. I feel like deleting whatever I've just said. But I really want you all to understand that I don't really have time to draw. Besides that, I don't even FEEL like drawing at all. It's like I've lost interest in it or something. If I get my motivation back, I will upload the remaining 6 drawings. However, I've decided that I won't be checking back dA often. Maybe once in a blue moon. 
When I'm older, I may have a different decision. Who knows. But I'll be away for now. If dA doesn't shut down in the near future, I'll be sure to come back and make a status update so that you guys know I'm still alive doing "great" things LOL.

Some of you will miss me, some of you will not. But my artworks are here forever to stay.
